I’ll be honest with you. I don’t know what that means. My blog. I don’t even know where to start. So I figured I’d begin by telling you that I don’t know where to start. And that is exciting.
What is this?
This is more a chronicle than a blog. This is my success journey made public. Years ago I decided I wanted to be a writer. Fiction mainly. And why? Because I love a good story and I love creativity. Stories have the ability to move me from my current situation into the world and mind of another. It’s fascinating to me what a good story can do and so I want to create them. Now, as of this point I have not written shit. Well, I have written some things, however, I have not published or completed any work of fiction.
That leads me to WHY this blog…
The simplest way to explain it is accountability. This blog was created to make sure that I keep pushing to publish my first work. And if I don’t then I fail, in public. Failing in public seems to be more of a fear than I ever cared to admit to myself. I have failed so much that failing in private became comfortable. So, here goes. I’m jumping in!
